The BARWA digital print shop calculator (configurator) is a tool for pricing and ordering postcards with your own graphic design. From this text you will learn what print options we offer, how the configurator works, how much company postcards cost, how to prepare the artwork and how long an order takes. An ideal solution for companies that need holiday postcards for clients, unique company cards, or thank-you cards.
How much do company postcards cost?
The price depends on the print run, back-side colors and lamination type. The configurator updates the quote automatically after parameter selection – you can switch between net and gross prices. Important: you can combine different designs in one order (e.g. 50 pcs of design A + 50 pcs of design B), which is significantly cheaper than separate orders. We charge a small surcharge for an increased number of designs but you still save money. You can save the quote and return to it from your account – useful while researching and planning a budget.
What is the minimum print run for postcards?
The minimum is 50 pcs of one design. An accessible option for small companies, startups and local businesses that do not need thousands of copies.
Can I order postcards in several versions at the same time?
Yes – this is one of the main advantages of our system. You can order different designs (e.g. different language versions, personalizations for branches) in different quantities within a single order. The system optimizes the total cost.
What are the technical parameters of the postcards?
- Dimensions: 150×98 mm (standard postcard format)
- Paper: one-side coated cardboard 300 g
- Digital print in CMYK
- Front: full color CMYK
- Back: optional black-and-white or color CMYK
Are the postcards laminated? What finishing can I choose?
Yes, the front is mandatorily laminated. You choose from four options:
- Gloss – intense colors, elegant shine
- Matt – subdued elegance, no reflections
- Soft touch – velvety surface, premium feel
- Scratch-resistant matt – practical for frequently used postcards
How long does printing of company postcards take?
Production takes 2-3 working days. Time is counted from the moment we receive print files prepared according to the guidelines. We check all files before printing – if we detect issues, you will receive an email with information. Some warnings do not preclude printing, and we inform you about that as well.
How to prepare a postcard design for print? What file formats are required?
Below this text you will find detailed technical guidelines. The configurator allows you to download a template with dimensions, bleed and safety margins – this makes design preparation easier. You add files in the last step when finalizing the order in the cart.
I do not have a graphic design – what to do?
If you do not have your own designer, we recommend free tools such as Canva or Adobe Express. They offer ready-made postcard templates and allow personalization even without design experience.
Who are our postcards for?
We print mainly for companies: Christmas postcards for clients, thank-you cards, promotional postcards, unique holiday cards with the company logo, event postcards.
